6:30-7:30 Morning Yoga for Farmers // Animal Chores

7:30-8:30 Breakfast: fresh eggs & kale, berries, homemade sourdough toast & butter & honey, coffee & tea

8:30- 9:00 Morning Chores// Sit Spot

9:00-11:00 Farm Work: moving chickens, tending bees, mulching, pruning, harvesting, etc.

11:00-12:30 Permaculture Class 1: Edible Forest Gardening (on how to design and tend a seven-layer forest garden, guest taught by a local permaculture designer) OR: Water Flows (on how to design gravity-flow water systems on a farm, taught by a lead instructor)

12:30- 1:15 Lunch: gazpacho, queso fresco, cornbread, salad, sauerkraut, peach cobbler

1:15-2:00 Personal Time: nap time // woods wander // draw under an oak // play music

2:00-3:30 Permaculture Class 2: Migration (farm workers rights, the current state of the US/ Mexico border, art as activism, taught by one of the lead instructors) OR: Herbalism & Tending an Herb Nursery, (with a tour of a local herbalist's site)

3:30-5:30 Farm Work: Building a pleached fence out of peach and nectarine trees; digging swales for water catchment

5:30-6:30 Play! Bike ride down to a lake, swim, rest, climb trees

6:30- 7:30 Dinner: packed-out picnic at the lake on blankets. Burrito Bar: local beans & rice, sour cream, roasted peppers & onions, fresh salsas, cheese, guacamole, homemade chips, brownies with homemade ice cream

7:30-9:30 Creative Space: coal burning spoons & bowls around a fire// moon circle under the new moon (singing & dancing & sacred space)//  slam poetry open mic // movie night under the stars // soap-making

9:30- 12:00 Social, personal space // night time animal chores// sleepy time
